08.06. POSSIBILITIES OF CO-FINANCING RENEWABLE ENERGY RESOURCES PROJECTS
Illegal building is a building or the upgraded part of the existent building built without the building permission, or against that permission. The illegal buildings are legalized by the decision on derived status, made by the competent authority of the local or regional self-government unit. The procedure is initiated on the request of the party involved at latest till the 31 December 2012. After that date it is no longer possible to conduct the legalization proceedings.
There are two different sets of conditions for the decision on derived status, depending on the two categories of illegal buildings: those built according to the area plan (regarding the purpose, size and the building position) and those built against the area plan, which have to fulfil much harder conditions.
