\n\tBiography<\/h2>[vc_empty_space height=”15px”][vc_column_text]Nikola Vai\u0107 was born on February 26, 1941. He graduated from the \u201cMatteotti\u201d elementary school in Rijeka in Italian, where he learned the Italian language. In 1964 he graduated from the Faculty of Law in Zagreb, at that time the only one in Croatia. Afterwards he worked as a trainee in Hamburg with the lawyers Pfl\u00fcger and Sch\u00f6n, mainly dealing with maritime and commercial law. Its largest client was the shipping company \u201cHamburg S\u00fcd\u201d.
\nAfter his return from Hamburg, he became an intern in his father\u2019s law firm in February 1965. On 1.1.1968 he was registered in the Bar Register of the HOK (Croatian Bar Association) in Zagreb. He completed his postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Law in Zagreb under the supervision of Professor A. Goldstein. His master\u2019s thesis was in maritime law.
\nNikola retired in 2020, but continues to work at the law firm. In total, Nikola can look back on over 60 years of professional experience.[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”15px”]\n\n\t
